The collaboration with different Italian research teams and funding agencies disseminated in our country has always led to the involvement in several national projects.
In particular, the Italian Association of Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome (A.I.S.S.) has been funding our research on this genetic rare disease, while the Italian Ministry of Research and the National Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN) funded research to investigate many radiobiological open issues.
